An affordable and accessible French red. The fruit parcels are grown on limestone rich French soils, half undergoing a traditional fermentation and the remainder a hot pre-fermentation maceration at 80 degrees. The wine is a deep red-purple. The nose boasts ripe and jammy fruits, backed by mocha and vanilla. The palate is rich and harmonious, black fruit and a whisper of smoke make this a deep and exciting wine. Its depth and gentle sweetness make it the perfect match for braised leg of lamb.
